Angie’s Bridals
May 2, 2007 – 11:33 am
Jason and Jessie ~ Engagements
May 1, 2007 – 8:11 pm
Because of a busy schedule and weather issues we had to do Jason and Jessie’s engagements pics at 8AM. I don’t know about you but I dont look too hot at 8AM. But look at these two love birds! Thanks guys for a fun morning shoot.
My two favorite pics of the day…

Actually….I love them all.

And last but not least, Jason’s self proclaimed “JCPenney Catalog” look.

Melissa’s Bridals
April 30, 2007 – 8:05 pm
Melissa is a bride who like my previous posted bride has a little bit of indecisiveness going on…BUT like I said before it’s PERFECT for pictures. Check out her three different boots she brought to her bridals. I LOVE IT! We had bad luck and good luck with her bridals. The wind was HORRIBLE but because of some good connections she was able to ride the clydesdale horse in some of the shots. Thanks again Melissa!

Tana’s Bridals
April 28, 2007 – 4:08 pm
I met Tana when I did her sisters bridals last year. They are from Southern Utah and came up just for me to do these pics. I feel so honored! What a beautiful couple. Good luck you two!
OH…and notice the three different veils. I LOVE indecision. I makes the photoshoots more interesting.
In my quest to find new Thx Pt shots look at these angles. I’ve never seen a pic quite like this before.

My Thanksgiving Point Debate
April 27, 2007 – 11:52 am
Along the lines of “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all” I have been practicing a “If you dont have any NEW ideas for Thanksgiving Point pics, dont post them at all”. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Thanksgiving Point. There is no where in the state of Utah with more perfect photo ops, perfect lighting for anytime of year or day, or more convienient for the bride and me. BUT because of those reasons it is so overdone by both me and most Utah photographers.
For the past few months I have had a struggle with feeling my creative vibe inside the Thx Pt walls. I finally shook myself awake last week and realized that just because I have been there a million times, it is the first time for the brides that I take there and I owe it to myself and them to wake up and get with it. So here are a few from Saymy’s bridals this week and I have two more Thx Pt bridals that I am editing that I will be posting soon. I LOVE the shots that I have gotten and I think I am finally out of my rut. BRING ON Thanksgiving POINT.
Heather and Dan ~ Engaged!
April 26, 2007 – 1:40 pm
Yes! I am a little busy right now!
I had an adventure with this cute couple. We started out shooting at Heathers apartment building which doesn’t sound too interesting but turned out to be a great spot. Then we went downtown (the long way) and ended up both getting parking tickets. Thanks guys and I can’t wait for the bridals and wedding coming up soon!
Brett and Lyndsay
April 26, 2007 – 12:15 am
I have really been putting an effort into choosing the correct photoshoot locations based on my clients input and personality. Take for instance this couple Brett and Lyndsay. They met in highschool but didnt start dating until they were in the rodeo circuit together. So I was so excited when they suggested using one of their horses in their photos. I think it is SUPER important to bring the personal touches into your photo experience. By the way…How lucky are they to be getting married in Hawaii?
Ryan and Brittany~Retro Engagements
April 23, 2007 – 10:51 pm
Brittany had an amazing photoshoot/engagement session in mind before she even called me. She wanted to do some retro pics with Ryan’s scooter since that is how they met BUT this crazy weather didn’t work with us so we ended up in this tacky laundromat with some dramatic lighting for effect. Thank you guys for trusting me and going along with all of my weird ideas. You guys rocked this photoshoot.
Lani
April 23, 2007 – 11:00 am
Lani is graduating this year. She may be a little behind most of her class in getting their senior pics done BUT look how well procrastination works out. Spring is just a much better time than fall to do these kinds of pics. It’s so much prettier outside. Lani thank you for being such a perfect model. CONGRATS!
